After being filled with fear for the pass week, I looked deep inside of myself and rose from my seat. I walked very slowly toward the front of the church where my pastor had opened up the doors of the church. In this moment of time I was ready to give my life to the lord. Not only did I turn my life over, but I realized what my real purpose in life was. I was here on this earth to serve the lord and to make him happy so that I may have a home in his kingdom once I leave this earth. From that day my philosophy has always been, everything happens for a reason. It’s God’s purpose in life for me. I have expectations in life that sometimes never go my way. But I have to remind myself that the lord has a plan for me and I must follow it. For an example I did not plan to attend Tuskegee University. My first choice was Hampton. I applied for early admission for both schools but Tuskegee responded before Hampton. I waited for months for a response from Hampton. So finally I got tired of......
