Hiv

HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) can only live in the body, its dies quickly anywhere else. The immune system looks after the body by fighting diseases. HIV attacks the human immune system, by stopping it from working properly. The virus itself does not make you sick, it attacks the immune system. When it attacks, your immune system gets weak and is easier for you to get other diseases. People who become infected with the HIV may have no symptoms for up to 10 years, but they can still transmit the infections to other. Their immune system gradually weakens until they are diagnosed with AIDS.
HIV is a virus, like the flu or cold. It is different from other viruses because it attacks cells in the immune system that normally protects the body. A virus needs living cells in order to make copies of itself. If it doesn't make copies of itself it dies. Human are protected from viruses by their immune system. The immune system has cells that kill cells that are infected with a virus.......
