Abortion Essay - Concise

Abortion is a highly controversial topic; there are many arguments for and against. The decision to have an abortion is never easy, but it is up to the woman concerned – it is her body after all. On the other hand science has shown that the unborn child is a separate being right from conception. It is never just a part of his or her mother's body. People differ in their views as to when life actually begins; a minority has no right to impose its views that life begins at conception.
Everyone has the right to control their own fertility, but accidents are bound to happen, so abortion will still be needed. But some people say abortion is just an easy way out. We should improve live in society, and we would do this by valuing human life, before birth, more highly. In contrast a foetus is only a potential human life where as the woman is fully a human life. But even in the womb, the unborn life has a right to life, and subsequently should not to be killed.
