Hades

Hades was the god of the underworld. He had two brothers, Zeus and Poseidon. They divided the world between the three of them. Zeus got the heavens and was god of all gods and humans, Poseidon got the oceans, and Hades got the underworld. There are many things people don't know about Hades like what kind of god he was, who he really was, and how he stole his wife Persephone.

In the first place Hades was, as stated above the god of the underworld, but what kind of god was he? Hades was known to most as the god who took the bad people of earth to Hades, but that's not who he was. Though Hades is where the dead go it is not like hell, which is where the bad people of earth go for eternal torment. Hades is where the good the bad young and old journey and there are levels of Hades which is not like Hell. Hermes the messenger god is the one who shows the dead the way to the underworld. Also people gave Hades another name because they were afraid of his true name, his other name was......
