Lincoln and Kennedy
Abraham Lincoln and JFK were two very different men. Lincoln was known as "honest Abe", where Kennedy had his scandals. Both presidents had different views and presidential styles. Even their looks were completely opposite. Aside from their differences, however, Lincoln and Kennedy have some eerie similarities and many involving the men's assassinations.
To start of with, there are many numerical coincidences dealing with dates and names. Lincoln was first elected to congress in 1846. Kennedy's first time elected to congress was exactly a century apart in 1946. Although both men's experiences with getting there are different, the dates being a century apart continue making the coincidence even more interesting. Lincoln was elected president in 1860, and Kennedy, again, was elected president one hundred years later. Both men, after their death, were succeeded by someone named Johnson.
