My First Valentine
MY FIRST VALENTINE'S DAY
Valentine's Day is the day when people show their affection for another person by sending anonymous cards, flowers, or chocolate with messages of love. It is also the most romantic day of the year for lovers. In contrast, the first valentine I spent with my present boyfriend three years ago was not really romantic. It has become the most interesting and wonderful anniversary that my boyfriend and I have never forgotten.
My boyfriend's name is Tung. We studied together in high school and had been friend for three years. When we graduated, a friend of mine, Ngoc Thao, told me that she likes him, but she was very shy to ask him a date. Consequently, I helped her to contact with him. Tung, Thao, and I usually went out together, but Tung neither talked to Thao nor looked at her. Finally, he admitted that he loved me and asked me to be his girlfriend. Therefore, it was our first Valentine's Day after we had started going out with him for four months.
