My Personal Goals

The personal goals that I want to achieve as a student at the University of Phoenix is to complete my degree in Information Technology. I am looking to gain an overall knowledge of different areas of technology. With this new level of comprehension I can leverage myself into different areas of my career. The courses that I have to take will broaden my abilities in the IT field. This will help me succeed in life.
With my current knowledge I am a good employee, but can only move so far up on the career ladder. No only will the degree help me get into a management but the course work will assist my quest for understanding the concepts that I currently have little knowledge about. I also need to learn to communicate more effectively and improve my writing skills. There are certain skills that employers look for when promoting internally. I need to have those skills plus have additional abilities to push my self over the top.
