First, find a shady area within reach of an outdoor water faucet to attach a water hose. If you wash your car in direct sunlight it will be hard to prevent spotting caused from the water drying too fast. You will need a two to three gallon pail, with a handle for carrying, to place water and liquid car wash solution into.
