Which is Better: Insane or Dead?

Insanity is the most unnatural thing a person with a mind can have. To use it and to have lost it is very frustrating to the sane mind. To die is the only super natural thing a living, breathing person can do. There are two characters that know this better than most people. Mrs. Mallard and Darling are two caged birds that are put into this ‘box’ of oppression, not being able to breath, so they escape the ways they know how. Mrs. Mallard dies and Darling goes crazy. In reading about them, their actions, ending conditions and thirst for liberation were the things that strike me interest the most.
The characters of these stories are powerful characters because their actions are meaningful. There was a reason for everything they did in the midst of their trial. They did things differently; however, this is due to the amount of time they had. Mrs. Mallard has one hour and the Darling had a matter of weeks. They both had a condition of......
