In activity 1 to determine which line was the longest the principle being used was Conformity. According to the theories on persuasion we are inclined to think deeply about an argument if the issue is one that is relevant and important to us. Conformity can be defined as a change in a person's behavior or opinions as a result of real or imagined pressure form a person or a group of people.
