On the subject that evolution is just a theory, I would reply that everyone is entitled to believe whatever they want. I would also tell my student to look at all the facts before deciding to dismiss the theory of evolution. I would suggest they read up on the subject and they will find that scientist have evidence that shows an evolution time table. The table starts out with microorganisms that lived in water dominated earth over a billion years ago. About 780 million years ago, plants began moving onto dry land. 370 million years ago animals began invading land. Humans show up on this table about 65 million years ago. These are just easements of what scientist have found. I suggest that you read up more on the subject and if you still feel that you do not believe in the theory of evolution, that's fine. It is important though, not to dismiss things before you understand what they are all about. Just because you research something, doesn't mean you have to agree with it but......
