The increasing use of illegal drugs has been a subject that compels politicians to make statements and instigate punitive legislation, however, the numbers continue to increase. Meth is an addicting drug that works on the brain and spinal cord and interferes with normal neurotransmission. Dopamine is the main neurotransmitter that is affected and without it you do not have the feeling of a job well done, or the feeling that your life is meaningful.
Meth is not only being imported but also produced meth labs are widely found in abandoned garages and buildings. 24% of teenagers under 18 use or have used meth and the stats are increasing rapidly.
