Strengths
Apple's strength lies in its hardware department, specifically its Desktop computers. Apple does not follow most computer manufacturer's ideas of Form follows function. An Apple is appealing to the eye, and this is relayed in the clean lines and surfaces of its machines, and the sleek look of its operating systems. Currently, Apple's PowerMac G5 provides one of their greatest strengths. This beast of a computer runs on Dual processors, and 64 bit architecture which enables them to be as fast as the latest from AMD and Intel.
The iMac offers customers the ability to purchase a powerful all in one system, that takes up only as much space as a flat panel monitor. The system is as powerful as any desktop system, and offers advanced features such as a remote control for playing music and videos that tucks away into the frame of the computer for storage.
