Winston's And Julia's Aspects

Orwell's novel "1984" revolves around a middle-aged man called Winston Smith. As the novel progresses, we understand that there is another important character in the book who was a woman that Winston loved, her name was Julia.
The main aspect of Winston is that it is very hard to make him believe others or believe the lies of the Party. He himself remarked "I understand How, I do not understand Why" and this phrase shows us that he followed the rules of the Party to remain alive but did not understand their concepts and why they accomplished what they do. He is also, in a way, slightly paranoid about being watched all the time by the Party and because of this problem he would sit in the corner of his apartment where the telescreen cannot see him and write down all his feelings about the Party in his diary. He also mentioned that since he bought a diary he was "already dead" since he will be caught in the end. He writes about how the Party can use anything against you. He......
