I was on my way home from school when all of a sudden I get this shocking phone call. This story has to do with me becoming a Eucharistic Minister for Cardinal Mooney High school. When I heard the announcements over the speakers I thought to myself this is something I really want to do. I have many reasons but there is one important reason that sticks out to me. That would be when my grandma died. It was August 31st, I will never forget it. I was on the way home coming from practice, when I got this phone call from my grandpa, my dad told me to answer it because him and my dad had gotten into a fight earlier that day. I answered the phone and it was my grandpa crying on the phone, I was so shocked because I have never seen or heard my grandpa cry he mumbled out your grandma just died and I looked at my dad and started to cry, mostly because I knew that I had to tell my dad that his mom just died.
