I work in a school district and the school which I work at has different ways of communicating with the other schools. The school has to be able to communicate with each and every person working there, so they use different methods of communication for this purpose.
Is the administrative staff (principal, librarian, skills specialist, test coordinator, technology coordinator, PE coach, and assistant principal); all these people communicate using Blackberries. The BlackBerry is a wireless handheld device introduced in 1999 which supports push e-mail, mobile telephone, text messaging, internet faxing, web browsing and other wireless information services. Developed by the Canadian company Research In Motion (RIM), it delivers information over the wireless data networks of mobile phone service companies (Wikipedia, 2007).
The technology cordinator in our school uses a Nextel 2-way, this is so she can communicate with other technology technicians in the district whenever necessary.......
