One of the major changes Vonage underwent when facing issues is that the change made was at the top with a new CEO in place. Due to the poor relationship employees had with their former CEO, a new CEO seemed pertinent and helped to move Vonage into a competitive position in 2006. Further, Starbuck's leadership style is more of a servant-leadership style where it believes that the behind the scenes people it does business with, like the farmers, are just as important as the employees selling the coffee.
