Weight Training
Exercise is defined as a bodily or mental exertion, esp. for the sake of training or improvement of health. Mental health is defined as the psychological well-being and satisfactory adjustment to society and to the ordinary demands of life for someone. In today's world a big question asked by many is does exercise, or weight training, have a mental effect on the mental state of a person to go along with the change in the physical state when a person begins to exercise.
There are two main emotions that are effected in the mental state of the mind and they are anxiety and depression. Anxiety is when a person is scared or nervous about an event that is coming up or that is occurring and that causes mental illness. Depression is when a person becomes in a mental state of being sad or down on themselves and removes themselves from society. Weight training affects both these mental illnesses in the same way.
