Negative Affects On Clonign

Why has cloning become such a controversial subject? Why are so many people opposed, and some welcome it with open arms? Most people are opposed to this subject because of religious reason and some for human rights. Some would say that cloning could be beneficial to our society, saving lives, extending lives, and even changing lives. Could the lack of understanding make people uneasy about this topic? I fell that to truly be opposed to cloning you have to understand the true science behind it. To me cloning has a lot of positive and negative points to it that are all very important.

Human cloning should be banned because of its many dangers. It is estimated that between 95 and 98 percent of cloning experiments have failed (Genetics and Society). These downfalls to this study are in the form of miscarriages and stillbirths (Genetics and Society).
