American Criticism

"Under presidents like Wilson, Roosevelt and Kennedy, this country had admirers across the planet. It is now in danger of losing that resource."

The United States of America has always been the most powerful nation in the world, but it gradually loses its respect and power all over the world. There are many different reasons why this happens and I want to consider this situation in the past and as well in the present. Then I will discuss its possible developments in the future.

In the middle of the last century, the USA was both a trendsetter and helper for many European countries and an opponent of the Soviet Union. After the Second World War all Europe found itself in unfavorable conditions because of the many human, political and economical sacrifices. The total estimated human loss of life was roughly 72 million people. The general view of the European map has changed because of the new boundary between West and East camps in Germany.
