Do I think war is necessary? Well I honestly thought it was until my brother joined the armed forces. He joined the Marines back in February, now he has done all of his training and he leaves for Iraq this February. It really sucks knowing that your brother is in the Marines going to Iraq and could possibly die. I will hope and pray that his trip to Iraq is a safe one and he makes it home safely.
Thinking back though why do we have wars, is it to make us feel better about our selves or is it to make sure that all the citizens of this wonderful country are safe. I believe war is to make sure we are all safe from terrorism, and to protect other countries from being terrorized like the United States was. I also believe that we need to pull out of Iraq in the near future, because they will never learn to protect them selves is we are over there fighting their own battles.
