This song relates to my book because it tells about how two people stand up against others to prove what they believe in. How it refers to two people coincides perfectly with my book because it has two main characters Danny and Reuven. Danny and Reuven stand up against Danny's father to try and convince him that their friendship is harmless. I think that this song would have been perfect to play while Danny and Reuven were walking to Danny's house to confront Danny's father.
Say Anything Else by Cartel-
This song is about not following the ordinary and just being yourself. In my book Danny and Reuven go against what their families wanted them to be and decided to follow their own hopes and ambitions. The line in the song "Don't follow their lead, because you'll never know just how the story ends" was just perfect for my book. I think this would have gone good in the part where Reuvens father was lecturing him about what he should be when he grows......
