Global Communications is currently suffering from economic pressure in the telecommunications industry. The company stock has depreciated by about fifty percent. The stockholders are questioning the companies ability to rebound from this happening. In this century many local, long-distance and international markets are all competing for the same business. More cable companies are now offering a bundle package which consists of cable, phone, and internet services. One of the opportunities that Global Communications have come up with is to form an alliance with a satellite provider to offer video services as well as broadband services. This will appeal to and help attract more business consumers and will help their target market grow. They are also planning to outsource some of their technical call centers to India and Ireland which will help them to reduce their unit cost for handling call by almost forty percent.
