Thank you very much for sharing a couple of hours with me today to discuss the opportunities at Taylor and Francis.
Reflecting on the conversations I had with you, John, Nora, and Dennis, I envision this role as being at the cutting edge of Taylor and Francis's product development and delivery. Hearing you say that the responsibilities this person would undertake are for long-term growth, were the words I wanted to hear.
As you know from my resume and subsequent conversations, I have already worked for traditional publishers with a track record for developing first-rate product sold through established marketing and sales channels. My most recent experiences in developing leading-edge sales tracking and industry trend databases has shown me that while these conventional distribution models are here to stay for now, growth and market dominance will only come through diversification.
