Goals And Time Management
I can apply these principles by personally setting myself the Goal of completing this year at University with the best grades and results. In order to achieve this Goal I will need to have good time management and I will measure this by sorting out my priorities at first. (www.cob.sjsu.edu/nellen_a/time_management.htm) refer to the A-B-C rating system. By following this system I will rate my “to do” list with ‘A’ items being my highest priority. As I am doing this I can set Goals for both short term and long term in order of what I would want to accomplish at a certain particular time. I will also look at all of my “to do’s” to gauge the time requirement I would need and whether any additional resources will be needed to accomplish the tasks, If I would need to I will schedule time to obtain these resources. (Bolstad.R & Hamblott.M 1996) explains not to postpone the small tasks, as a sense of accomplishment is good and overlooked small tasks can become larger tasks.......
