Aboriginal Autobiography

Hello my name is Ariba from the Gunai tribe, in present day Victoria.Life is horrible and tragic here, the white demons have our wonderful land. They have forced us to live like animals and eat nothing but this powdery white substance and this sweet sand like substance. I feel tired and exhausted from eating these substances, as they provide me with no energy at all. I feel lethatgic everyday and feel as if I’ve lost all meaning to live. I feel like I am in hell, forsaken and segregated from my tribe and loved ones.
I am in immense pain, caused by these purple lumps of pain which I am covered with. I feel dizzy and I sometimes fall into a state of temporary death. I am growing weary as the long harsh days pass and pass.

I remember that horrible day so clearly, as if it was painfully engraved into my mind......
