Organizational Behavior (OB) is a field of study investigates the impact that individuals, groups, and structure have on behavior within organizations, for the purpose of applying such knowledge toward improving and organization’s effectiveness and efficiency. Managing organizational behavior challenges individuals to understand and embrace workforce diversity, elements of change, effective communication, and performance systems. (Apollo Group, Inc. [AGI], 2004) Organizational behavior focuses on its organizational culture and learning, as well, which are all elements that affects organization’s success.
