Final Project
The information system that I have chosen to write about is a system that I use at the Residence Inn by Marriott Fosse is short for Front Office System Select Extended Stay. This is the system that we use to manage all reservations and in house guest. The Fosse system has many menu choices to allow us to make reservations for our guest and future guest. The first thing that I do each morning after punching in is going to the FOSSE screen and I am able to pull up our availability that we have in the hotel for that day and am able to pull up how many rooms that we have vacant Ready to use and that are vacant dirty along with the number of checkouts that we have that day and what guests will be checking out so that we could have the correct registration cards pulled for that day. We are also able to tell which guests credit cards that have been processed correctly and cards that have been declined for any reason so that we are able......
