All people have the right to make their own choices on who they love, right? Wrong. Think about all of the people who are homosexual. There are laws prohibiting them, telling them that they can’t marry the person thy love because of their sexual. Orientation. They can be together, but they cannot make it official because of a law. That would be like telling heterosexual people that they can’t marry the person they love for some reason. It’s a violation of the Constitution. The Constitution states that people have the freedom of choice. How is this being honored when gay couples cannot make the choice to marry who they wish to marry?
Homosexual couples should be given the right to marriage because of respect. People may say that they don’t “like” what homosexual stands for and they are not respecting their choices by saying things like that. I don’t necessarily agree with homosexuality, but I do respect the opinions and......
