War arises at a global level because of the changing relations of numerous variables. The most predominant variables include technology, socialism, and conflict behavior. There is no single cause to war. War is caused by a compilation of many factors. The race for technology fabricates states to oppose others in order to dominate the global market. Conflict behavior is caused by opposing interests and capabilities, significant change in the balance of powers, as well as contact and awareness. Conflict behavior is then triggered by the perception of opportunity, threat, or injustice. Even though conflict behavior may be violent or non-violent, it is believed to manifest a series of phases in the balancing of powers. Sociocultural forces such as meaning, values, and norms within states also generate wars.
