1 - Identify the critical success factors for a good IT outsourcing strategy.
Nowadays, to select the right partner for outsourcing any process has become critical in order to success in the business world. There are some differences between offshore outsourcing and “national companies�, but in this report we will focus in the second option. The main reasons to outsource are: Reduce and control operating cost, gain access to the best capabilities, use resources which are not available internally and finally use internal resources for other purposes. Since the reasons are easily identifiable, it is more complex to understand the critical factors before taking any decision. According to the “Outsourcing Institute� , the top factors for successful IT outsourcing are:
