The Land of the Mists

I have one wish, I have one desire,
There is an Island surrounded by fire,
And if I could fulfill just one wish,
It would be “to return to the land mists”

It is an Island, formed like a bowl,
Where mans destructive nature is laid barren,
In the center there is a hole
Where all mans thoughts desire to stare in

For one minute, one second, one fraction of time,
All should visit, all should indulge,
For one thought, one idea, one indulgence divine,
All should visit, resolve their big grudge

To sit on its beach and stare into its vastness
The time around you would stop…. Would halt
To visit this island, some may say is a fault,
But those who do have not seen its greatness

I long to go there, to stay for a day
But as of lately, my journey subside,
For the demon in blue took my bridge away,
It won’t be rebuilt for quite sometime

What excitement, what fun, what thrills of joy,
For my chance to return, I eagerly await,
