Even before it was proven wrong, astronomers wondered what was wrong with the geocentric theory. Whenever they would research the theory to back it up, something always came out wrong. Johannes Kepler was the astronomer that solved the problem the problem with the geocentric theory, even before other astronomers knew there was something wriong. Before Johannes Kepler was involved, most people thought that the earth was the center of the universe. Kepler proved that the heliocentric theory was correct proving earlier astronomer’s research. Johannes Kepler’s proof that the heliocentric theory was correct changed history by revolutionizing astronomy.
