Former United States Vice President Al Gore presented the Film in his effort to “get the message across.” This documentary reveals how we, humanity, are doing nothing to stop the deterioration of our planet, but instead hope that the next generation would do something. An Inconvenient Truth focuses on Al Gore and his travels in support of his efforts to educate the public about the severity of the climate crisis. He describes the consequences he believes global climate change will produce if the amount of human-generated greenhouse gases is not significantly reduced in the very near future. This is so important because not enough college students understand what a big deal it is, and how it will impact our children in the years to come.
