Metaphysics of the Trinity by Augustine
In order to try to grasp the Doctrine of the Most Holy Trinity Saint Augustine presents to us it’s Metaphysics.
The Catholic Church believes that God reveals Himself to us in three ways: Sacred Scripture, Creation and Tradition. Scripture: “Then God said…” (Genesis 1:3) and “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God…All things came to be through Him without Him nothing came to be (John 1:1-3) and “The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” (John 1:14) Creation: “The heavens declare the glory of God; the sky proclaims its builder’s craft (Ps 19:2).
