A resource is defined as a source of supply, support, or aid, esp. one that can be readily drawn upon when needed. (Dictionary.com)This would mean that human resources are there to support or aid the organizations to whom they are employed and is the key to the organizations success. Within this paper, I will discuss the importance of the management of human resources, factors that affect staffing and steps health care organizations can take to reduce turnover within their organizations.
