Ed Gein

Edward Theodore Gein, also known as Ed Gein, was born August 27, 1906. He was born in a town called La Crosse, Wisconsin. Ed Gein’s farther, George Gein, was an alcoholic. Ed, his brother, and their mom, Augusta, hated George. Augusta left George and moved the boys out to a small farming town called Plainfield. Augusta moved Ed and Henry, his older brother, out to Plainfield so she called keep them separated from everyone else. Gein only left the farm to go to school, and then he came straight home. He was not allowed to have any friends. Augusta made Ed do a lot of chores on the farm. Augusta was a Lutheran, and she told the boys that drinking was evil and that all women (not including her) were whores and prostitutes. Every afternoon she would read the Bible and would select graphic verses from the Old Testament that had death, murder, and divine retribution. Ed had a slight growth over one eye, feminine qualities, so the young Ed became a target for bullies.......
