I chose to write on Beth Moore because I’ve heard a little about her books, but never about her. I thought it would be fun to learn about her and how she came into ministry and to see all the things she had to give up, and how she’s been rewarded.
Beth Moore was born on an army base in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on November 27, 194. She was raised in Ark Delia, Arkansas as the fourth child of a retired Army major and a homemaker and her father owned the local cinema.
Beth felt a calling to work for God at the age of 18. She couldn’t imagine what it would mean; however, she made it her goal to say yes to whatever He asked. Beth graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a degree in political science. She also holds an honorary doctorate in humanities from Howard Payne University. She married Keith Moore in 1978 and soon after the Lord added Amanda and Melissa to the family. As a young wife and mother, Beth served the Lord by speaking at luncheons and retreats, working......
