I Am No Sunflower

I am no sunflower this week . I’ve been mad and sad all week. There is no real explanation, or maybe too many explanations.
Yesterday, I paid .69 cents for a scarred cucumber and $1.15 for a red onion at the grocery store. Both were pre -tax amounts. Believe it or not, the name of the store was Sav-A-Lot! What is wrong with this world?
Everyday, I pray a multitude of gratitude prayers asking God to help me deal with the people sitting beside me in my anatomy & physiology class. As if the class was not already hard enough without having to deal with stupid people, the woman behind me always snores during the most “interesting” part s of the lectures. Bad huh? Well that’s nothing compared to the guy who’s right beside me, constantly cracking his knuckles and picking his nose, only to wipe big slimy green boogers on the pants of his perfectly pressed McDonalds uniform!
…….my prayers remain unanswered.
