• Conditional Statements: Are defined as “If then� statements or p->q
-If being the hypothesis and then meaning the conclusion.
- An example of this type of statement would be :

“If two angles are congruent then they have equal measures.�

-If being “two angles are congruent� and then being “they have equal measures.�

• Converse Statements: Are defined as switching the hypothesis with the conclusion or q->p
-To write this type of statement you’d simply write:

“If two angles have equal measures then they are congruent.�

• Inverse Statements: Are defines as if not hypothesis then not conclusion or ~p->~q
-An example would be:

“If two angles are not congruent then they do not have equal measures.�

• Contrapositive Statements: Have the same truth value as the original statement, and is written as ~q->~p
