- An example of this type of statement would be :

“If two angles are congruent then they have equal measures.”

• Converse Statements: Are defined as switching the hypothesis with the conclusion or q->p
-To write this type of statement you’d simply write:

“If two angles have equal measures then they are congruent.”

• Inverse Statements: Are defines as if not hypothesis then not conclusion or ~p->~q
-An example would be:

“If two angles are not congruent then they do not have equal measures.”

• Contrapositive Statements: Have the same truth value as the original statement, and is written as ~q->~p
