The purpose of Strategic Information Systems Planning in today’s business environment is to study organizational information needs, identify strategic opportunities and develop a plan to address those information needs. I need to agree with Earl point of view when he said that “for many IS executives, strategic information systems planning (SISP) continues to be a critical issue” in current business atmosphere, because its implication on the success of the modern enterprises is highly important. (Mathews, 2006).
