1) If I could get into a time capsule and go back into time, I would go back to the Boston Tea Party. That was going on during 18th century. The exact date would be 1773, in mid December. The Sons of Liberty were the actual group who did it. They dressed up like the Mohawk indians and boarded the ships and threw out all the tea out in the ocean. This was all happening in Boston Mass. It was a political protest against British parliament. The 1765 Stamp Act and the 1767 Townshend Act increased hatred for British decisions on taxation of the colonies. One of the protesters was John Hancock. Hancock organized a boycott of tea from China sold by the British East India Company. American women played a major part in the boycott and it was one of the first times women attempted to influence public policy in the Colonies. 1773 the British East India Company had huge debts, and great amounts of tea in stock but they couldn' t sell it because of people like John Hancock.
