Adhd (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)

Innocent, very lovable and a little shy; are the few of the many wonderful characteristics that describe my little nephew Sean. Sean is an eight year old that; attends school, look’s, talks and does everything just like a normal child would do. About a few years ago Sean was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (A.D.H.D.). It was crushing to hear that my nephew has a disorder that effect’s his learning ability, but I didn’t understand what A.D.H.D. was and how it effect’s a child. At first when I heard about his situation it seemed as if the child needed to just be placed on meds and labeled ignorant for the rest of his life. When the opportunity came for me to write an essay about a disorder and its effects I felt as if it was time for me to look into A.D.H.D..
I know that prior to this essay I should have done more research in regards to Sean’s disorder but the whole time I was under the influence that A.D.H.D. was not......
