One Day at Work with my mom
Everyday my mom does the same old routine. She gets up, takes a shower, eats breakfast, gets dress, and goes to work. She needs to wake up 5:45 in the morning and I had to get up 5:45 too last Monday because I went with her to observe her work. I wanted to go to work with elderly people that are related to my future career, which is nursing. As I watched my mom get ready, it seemed that every minute was very important. She got ready very fast, because we had to catch the 6:42 bus. We took the Pace bus 250 which goes to the Davis Street CTA station in Evanston.
As my mom and I waited for the bus, there were two girls and three boys walking with books and back packs going to Maine East High School for summer school. They didn’t look happy. There were four more people waiting for the bus. A Mexican guy carrying a big tool box looked like his ready for work. Two ladies spoke with each other in Polish.
