The First Amendment
First, what is freedom in America? If only we could ask the pioneers that lived throughout the country for frontier land and struggled for freedom for new generations. They were our forefathers to whom we owe an eternal debt of gratitude. They were people who knew that life was a struggle and accepted on those terms. This leads us into the The First Amendment which was written because American citizens demanded a guarantee of their basic freedoms. There are five sections to the bill of rights which are Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Press, The Right to Peacefully Assemble, The Freedom of Religion, and to petition the Goverment for a redress of griveance. All these things someway affect us in everyday life, but 3 really are in everyday life.
