Response Back To School
I got your voicemail message and I think it is a great idea to go back to school. I must admit I am concerned about a few of your statements. Since I have been enrolled in the Distance Learning program for the past few weeks, I thought I would give you a little advice to help you start off successfully.
First, it is not a great idea to pursue an online degree until you have totally committed yourself to make a sacrifice to apply yourself for the next couple of years. The studying habits you had during high school will not work in college. Distance Learning requires discipline and time management skills to be successful with your studies.
I heard you mention that you were going to continue to work full-time while pursing your online degree. The great thing about distance learning is that you can do both and still enjoy your personal and professional life.
