ABSTRACT


Which peanut butter will win the taste test, Jiffy Peanut Butter or Store Brand Peanut Butter? Which peanut butter will be more nutritionally healthy for you?

I think Jiffy Peanut Butter will be selected. The commercials always say, “Choosey mothers choose Jiffy Peanut Butter!” My mother always buys Jiffy Peanut Butter for us to eat and make sandwiches, however, she buys the Great Value Brand to cook with.

I set up my experiment at my breakfast table, using four places. I placed a plate on each placemat with two spoons. One spoon had the Jiffy Peanut Butter on it. The other spoon had the Great Value Store Brand Peanut Butter on it. I placed the jars of peanut butter out of site, but I placed a red mark on the bottom of the Jiffy and a blue mark on the spoon with Great Value brand. I made sure each place setting had a glass of water with lemon so the could rinse their mouth between samples.

My Grandfather immediately chose the Great Value store......
