Gene One is a young agricultural biotechnology company. Gene One began operations 8 years ago with a $2 million dollar investment, 5 dedicated stakeholders and 1 extraordinary leader with a vision to grow a successful company. Gene One’s flagship technology that eliminated diseases found in potatoes and tomatoes, along with other technological advancements, have been a tremendous source of revenue for the company. In all, this relatively young company has grown from the initial $2 million dollar investment to realize annual revenues in excess of $400 million dollars. If Gene One is going to survive the next eight years Don Ruiz, Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors must implement new business strategies.......
