The “American Dream”, once thought to only be possessed by foreigners migrating into our country, has been found to be possessed by current citizens as well. Excluding the rich, all Americans appear to have this dream, or at least some variation of it. However, no matter the dream itself, it all consists of the dreamers all wanting a sense of possible happiness and a successful life. For example, possibly getting rich or becoming famous are in some people’s concept of the “American Dream”; while for others, it may be a hope for their later generations to be more successful than its predecessors. Yet, it is not something that is easily earned; most have to strive for years just to come close to this epitome of human life. However, if you manage to succeed, your peers within your society greatly praise you and so forth; unfortunately, trying to achieve this “American Dream” has leaded some people down darker paths of life…
