1. Amortisation
(technical definition) payment of a loan by installments
(example) A lot of the people in the houses in Purok 9 are rented. Most of the rents of these houses are still being paid for through amortisation.
2. Bureau of Women and Young Workers (acronym BWYW)
It is a part of DOLE, created in 1960. It is in charge of the promulgation of rules, orders and regulations pertaining to the general welfare of all working women and minors.
(example) Since there are some working children residing in Purok 9, they are protected by the BWYW.
3. Collateral
(technical definition) an asset pledged by a borrower that may be seized by a lender to recover the value of a loan if the borrower fails to meet the required interest charges or repayments.
